About Mick Buchanan: I came on staff here in December of 08. I have been in the ministry since ’97 and have served churches in Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, and now back in Indiana. Prior to the Ministry I served in the US Navy I have been married to the best wife on the planet, Theresa, for 13 years and together we have 6 enthusiastic children. Jacob is the oldest at 12, Rorie is 10, Bekah is 9, Michael (AKA Buzz) is 6, Mary is 3 and Jackson is the latest addition at 5 Months. All of the successes that the Lord has blessed me with in ministry revolve around 66 books (the Bible) and their application to the lives of the people I serve. I am passionately committed to Engaging people for the Lord and watching them shine. I believe in people like Jesus believed in the Apostles…Simple fishermen, tax collectors, and every-day people can and will change the world for the Kingdom of God. When people are given the opportunity, they will shine, 99 times out of 100! I am excited about what God is doing in Roachdale with His people and I am looking forward to seeing what he will do in the future through us all.

James 4:11-15

11 Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?

13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” (ESV)
